Innovative Teaching Award
About
The Innovative Teaching Award aims to recognise and promote outstanding teaching practices that foster creativity, collaboration, and innovation in higher education. It provides opportunities for educators to share and exchange best practices while encouraging cooperation across institutions. Applications may include examples of good practices in categories such as entrepreneurial mindset development, digital learning technologies, active teaching methods, and co-design or curriculum co-creation. These areas reflect the broader priorities of digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion.
The award offers educators a chance to gain visibility, connect with peers, and further improve their teaching methods. Selected winners receive a monetary prize to support the realisation of their innovative projects, and their achievements are promoted across various communication platforms. The awards are presented during the international conference “Enhancing Professional Excellence: Synergy of Academic and Non-Academic Staff (PROF-SYNERGY)”, which brings together higher education professionals to exchange ideas, explore new approaches, and strengthen collaboration in teaching and learning.
