Training for early-stage researchers

The training programme for early-stage researchers targets early-stage post-doctoral researchers within the Transform4Europe (T4EU) Alliance, with the aim of supporting both academic and non-academic career development. It aligns with the European Competence Framework for Researchers and emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, international networking, and skills in research, teaching, science communication, and career management.

The programme is delivered in three phases:

1. Phase 1 – In-Person Event
   A 3–5 day workshop with training sessions, expert talks, and networking, held annually in Lisbon, Kaunas, and Porto (each focusing on a different discipline).
2. Phase 2 – Online Modules
   Optional online courses on research methods, data analysis, and academic writing via the T4EU Metacampus.
3. Phase 3 – Specialized Tracks & Capstone
   Thematic modules, a mentored capstone project, and a final virtual symposium with expert feedback.

The first training programme for the early-stage researchers is yet to be planned and announced.
