About

The 18th CEE Forum of Young Legal, Political and Social Theorists will take place on 3-4 September 2026, at the University of Silesia in Katowice. The conference theme, ‘Recreating Justice in a Changing World’, encourages young researchers to reflect on the transformations of law, politics, and society in times of crisis, uncertainty, and structural change.

The CEE Forum is a long-standing international academic initiative that brings together young scholars working in legal and social theory, as well as political philosophy. It provides a space for in-depth discussion, intellectual exchange, and networking in Central and Eastern Europe and beyond.

By fostering dialogue between diverse methodological approaches, the Forum aims to contribute to contemporary debates on justice, democracy, constitutionalism, human rights, and the future of legal and political orders.

The deadline for abstract submission is 30 April 2026..
