Objectives: To prepare the student to write scientific articles, communicate scientific results to varied audiences, and present scientific results in various formats. Includes topics in proposal writing, as well. General competencies: written and spoken English, public speaking. Subject-specific competencies: writing for peer-reviewed publications, presenting science with and without visual aids, understanding proposal writing and instructions.
