USAAR Gender Equality Office
The gender equality officer offers advice to university employees, students and members of the LGBTQIA* community, on all relevant study and workplace issues (funding opportunities, balancing work-life commitments, discrimination, etc.).
USAAR Disability Support Service (KSB)
The Disability Support Service (KSB) part of the Equal Opportunities and Diversity Management Unit, supports students and teachers who face difficulties in their studies due to disability or chronic illness. The KSB offers consultation services to promote an inclusive approach to studying.
USAAR Family Office
The Family Office, part of the Equal Opportunities and Diversity Management Unit, provides advice and support for parents and caregivers. Trained guides for parenting and workplace caregiving ensure high-quality counselling services. On the Saarbrücken campus, we offer two daycare centres—one for students’ children and another for employees’ children.
USAAR Centre for International Students (ZiS)
ZiS helps incoming international students to become acquainted with the university and university life by offering a selection of leisure and recreational activities, student mentors and a broad range of information material.
