About
T4EU students, employees, and friends will meet once again in October 2024 at the University of Silesia in Katowice to enjoy a week full of incredible events in the company of one another.
T4EU Week
We will organise the next edition of T4EU Week – each time it proves to be a great opportunity to meet new people, and perhaps create long-lasting friendships among the T4EU students from all the universities in the Alliance, for whom we’ve prepared a rich educational offer.
The Languages for lunch initiative, as part of which participants will be able to learn a few Polish words and phrases, will certainly be a treat! Our activities will be centred around the idea of Communication for a Better Future.
Strategic Assembly
T4EU in Katowice will feature the Strategic Assembly, the most important yearly meeting, during which members of the T4EU academic community talk about our European University.
An important item on the event’s agenda will be the transfer of T4EU Presidency.
A Policy Conference will be held on 22 October. The experts representing the Alliance universities will take part in a debate on the topic of ‘Diplomacy of Universities’.
A Global Partnership Forum will also take place on that day. This event will aim to connect representatives of academic and non-academic communities to discuss the broadly understood topic of water.
T4EU Annual Heritage Conference
Launching a debate on the understanding and sustainability of European heritage is the main objective of the First T4EU Annual Heritage Conference.
It aims to critically rethink the narratives and communication strategies used in the production of European heritage and to share regional experiences in this field. It will provide an opportunity to reflect on the impact of heritage on sustainable development, its role as a factor in strengthening the identity of local people and creative ways of managing heritage.
Accompanying events for all
T4EU in Katowice is also a great opportunity to get to know your fellow participants a little better and take part in mindfulness workshops, sports challenges, and a unique cooking event: Grand T4EU Pierogi Contest! There will be team-building meetings, excursions, concerts, and even a special movie night!
