On 10 September 2024, the T4ERI project team convened for the Final Inter-Regional Policy Roundtable in Burgas, Bulgaria, marking a pivotal moment for the Transform4Europe Alliance. The event gathered experts, policymakers and stakeholders from various regions to discuss the challenges and opportunities in Research and Innovation across Europe.
A key focus was the T4ERI White Paper on Collaboration in Research and Innovation, which provides actionable recommendations for overcoming legal, regulatory and financial barriers that hinder university collaboration.
The roundtable facilitated a dynamic discussion among participants, addressing future strategies, regional development benefits and key barriers to collaboration. They emphasized the need for strong partnerships, inclusive governance and effective communication to ensure the sustainability of project results. A major highlight was the presentation of innovative tools, including the T4ERI research collaboration platform connect4research, developed to enhance cooperation across the Alliance’s network.
