Description

Participants will get to know the system of rituals and rites in folk culture(s) with a focus on the typical countryside and urban culture(s). They will discuss details of rites and rituals as part of the cultural calendar and the roles of those involved. Special attention will be paid to the food and dress accompanying these rites and rituals and their meaning.
