Open Dual Lecture in Katowice

University of Silesia in Katowice is organizing Open Dual Lecture and is looking for one professional, stemming from the entrepreneurial environment, to be entrusted with a lectureship activity c/o the University of Silesia in Katowice to be held in Katowice, Poland on 14th December 2022.
The lecturer must prove first-hand competency and a solid background in the entrepreneurial aspects related to one of the three focus areas of the Transform4Europe
- Digital transformation and smart regions;
- Environmental transformation and sustainability;
- Societal transformation, community building and inclusion.
Previous relevant lectureships or speaking in conferences will be evaluated.
Within the scope of the Transform4Europe project, the entrepreneurs will visit the University of Silesia in Katowice and hold a lecture on the following topic:
Wood pellets – the future of the energy market?
On behalf of University of Silesia in Katowice, the speakers are:
- Iwona Jelonek, Faculty of Natural Sciences – moderator
- dr inż. Agnieszka Drobniak, Faculty of Natural Sciences – speaker
The lecture will present history of using wood pellets as a source of energy, concerns regarding pellet fuels quality and the pros and cons of using biomass for energy purposes.
The University of Silesia in Katowice will grant an attendance remuneration of 500€ and will cover the travel and accommodation expenses for the day of the lecture.
