No Limits
A new popular science journal at the University of Silesia in Katowice
About
No Limits is a new popular science journal at the University of Silesia in Katowice. We use an attractive format to present interesting, innovative, and important scientific research conducted at our University or in cooperation with the University of Silesia. Since the fifth issue, the journal also features articles written by scientists from the T4EU Alliance. The last issue included an article by Martina Blečić Kavur, PhD, Assoc. Prof. from the University of Primorska (download the article).
The semi-annual journal is addressed to a wide audience, especially to those who are interested in discoveries in the world of science, technology, new materials and technologies, as well as innovative solutions. Each issue has a different theme. The first issue concerned climate change, the second — water, the third — Stanislaw Lem (to mark the 100-year-anniversary of the writer’s birth), the fourth — waste and recycling, the fifth — city, the sixth — dangers of the modern world, and the seventh — women.
No Limits is released in two language versions: Polish and English, each in 1,000 copies. While promoting eco-friendly practices in the articles, we must hold ourselves to the same standards, which is why No Limits is published on certified ecological paper. The semi-annual journal also is available in an electronic version on the USil website, as well as on the ISSUU and Journals platforms:
