About
Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, in cooperation with the Transform4Europe Alliance and co-funded by the European Union, is organising an online workshop titled ‘Introduction to Science Communication’. This two-part series will introduce participants to the concept of science communication and its practical aspects, offering valuable tools for effectively presenting research to different audiences.
The workshop will be led by Assoc. Prof. Vladimir Bozhilov, Vice Dean for Public Relations, Teachers and Students Activities at the Faculty of Physics, Sofia University St. Kl. Ohridski
- Overview of science communication and its importance
- Practical guidelines on various communication formats
- Training on presenting your research in 3 minutes
- Insights into engaging different audiences
- Interactive discussions and best practice sharing
The Format:
Two online sessions via Zoom (2 hours each) combining presentation, experience sharing, and interactive discussion.

Requirements:
- Passion for communicating your research
- Working knowledge of English
- A computer with a stable internet connection
