Description

The Museum of the University of Alicante (MUA), established in 1999, serves as a dynamic cultural hub that integrates contemporary art, scientific research, and educational initiatives. Its mission is to foster cultural revitalization, learning, and community engagement by hosting a diverse array of temporary exhibitions and interdisciplinary activities . MUA’s goals include promoting artistic sensitivity, facilitating reflective understanding of society and history, and acting as a socializing agent of knowledge . In the context of WP7, MUA can contribute by providing a platform for collaborative exhibitions, educational programs, and research dissemination, thereby enhancing cultural exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration within the T4EU alliance.

Previous and Upcoming Initiatives

The Garden of the (In)visibles

For the Common Cultural Activity titled Garden of the (In)visibles, MUA will be the selected venue to host the various temporary travelling exhibitions, including both the one developed by the University of Alicante and those created by the other partner institutions.
