Discover the beauty of Slovenia’s Istria at the T4EU Festival of Culture and Languages & Sustainable Heritage Student Competition: Inspiring Istria, hosted by the University of Primorska from 8 to 11 September 2026. Open to all T4EU students, the event combines cultural exploration with creative practice inspired by the region’s multilingual and multicultural heritage.
Participants will join one of three workshops:
Visual arts workshop: From Language to Image, From Words to T-Shirts
Audiovisual workshop: From Observation to Ethnographic Documentary
Poetry workshop: Poetry Across Languages
The programme also includes field visits, cultural activities and opportunities to collaborate with students from across Europe. Workshop outcomes will be presented at a final exhibition and entered into the T4EU Sustainable Heritage Student Competition. The festival offers a unique opportunity to engage with Istria’s landscapes, stories, languages and communities through creative and collaborative work.
