23–25 September 2027 | University of Silesia

About

The international conference “Transform4Europe – Horizon Europe 2027” is a three-day, intensive event organized by the University of Silesia in Katowice. Its aim is to bring together researchers, PhD students, and project staff from the University of Silesia in Katowice with their counterparts from partner universities in the Transform4Europe alliance as well as the T4EU Joint Grants Office.

The event will take place outside the main campus of the University of Silesia in Katowice. Accommodation and meals will be provided by the university. Detailed information will be shared later.

The conference will cover topics related to the Horizon Europe 2027 program, exchange experiences, and kick off initial collaborative work on grant application ideas for European Commission competitions within the aforementioned Horizon Europe 2027 program.

The conference will combine presentations and discussions with practical work in working groups, so participants will not only expand their knowledge on the rules for applying for European funds, but will also leave the conference with concrete, ready-to-develop project proposal ideas and international contacts useful for future collaboration within the alliance.

Beyond the academic program, the event also provides space for informal conversations, experience-sharing, and meetings inspired by the unique cultural heritage of Upper Silesia – creating an opportunity to build relationships not just as researchers, but also as members of the international academic community.

Interested academic and administrative staff members can register online until 14 September
