Roundtable on the legal challenges of digital transformation (11 MAY)

The digital transformation involves numerous legal challenges that have yet to be debated and which are the subject of different research projects. Therefore, in order to discuss the current state of the issue, its critical points and the next steps to be taken, the University of Alicante will hold a round table on the subject on 11 May, together with the international partners involved in the European alliance Transform4Europe.
Specifically, members of the universities that make up Transform4Europe will present their lines of research related to this field of study to explore possibilities for collaboration and the Chair for the Responsible Development of the Metaverse will be presented by Aurelio López-Tarruella, Professor of International Private Law. In addition, Leonardo Cervera-Navas, Director at EDPS – European Data Protection Supervisor, will give the closing conference entitled “New challenges of data protection in AI and the Metaverse”.
