About
The Festival of European Culture T4EU 2023 is an event characterized by a diversity of artistic expression. We are sure the event will attract dozens of participants through its interdisciplinarity and multidimensionality.
We have made Integration our overarching motto. Since Transformation for Europe – then Culture for Integration and Integration for Culture.
We see the strengthening of the alliance partners in three areas:
- workshop (where you will gain knowledge, get inspired and experience unforgettable moments, all under the guidance of professionals in the respective fields and in the spirit of creating the tangible here and now)
- artistic (we invite you to the Gala Concert, where the music of many cultures and international ensembles of alliance partners will reign, and the culmination will be the premiere of the T4EU Anthem – from where you will go out into the world with a song on your lips – Culture for Integration)
- and the third, most important one – which students best create, that is integrative (we created the space for the integration day to spend it together in the mountains, get to know the flavours of the Silesian and Cieszyn regions, make music, establish new relationships, friendships and undertake long-term international cooperation – Integration for Culture).
Plan this time so you can spend it with us in Poland. We will do our best to allow you to explore our culture in many areas. We look forward to seeing you!

Gala Concert
We would like to invite you to take part in the Gala Concert of the Transform4Europe Festival of European Culture, taking place on 25 April at 6 p.m. at the Concert Hall at Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.
During the concert, you will have an opportunity to listen to the T4EU Anthem composed by Adrian Robak, PhD, Assoc. Prof.
Workshops in Cieszyn
We would like to invite you to ‘the artistic paradise’ taking place at the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science in Cieszyn. We look forward to seeing you on April 26. We have prepared a range of workshops, performances and presentations, from theatrical, dance and performative shows to workshops on comics, posters, ceramics, glass, and creative sewing, along with applied art workshops where you will create your own unique object of everyday use.
Visual identification
The visual identification of the Festival of European Culture T4EU 2023, organised by the University of Silesia in Katowice, has been designed by Prof. Kaja Renkas, and thanks to the graphic designer Iwona Pomianowska, it has been put in motion and animated.
Introducing the authors:
Graphic and poster designer, illustrator, and new media artist. In her works, she constantly pushes the limits and explores new areas; recently, she has been combining traditional skills with the possibilities of Augmented Reality. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Katowice in printmaking. She continued her education at the Art Department at the University of Silesia (Currently the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science), she currently works there as a professor.
Graphic designer, filmmaker, psychologist, and lecturer at the University of Warsaw, Lodz Film School, and the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science at the University of Silesia. A member of the museum advisory committee at Museum Leuven and a researcher combining the domains of cognitive psychology and media design in both theory and practice (PhD in psychology at Trinity College Dublin; MA in arts and information design at LUCA School of Arts, Brussels).
