Universidade Católica’s PhD student represents Transform4Europe at the European University Alliances Forum
About
Mahsa Farrokhi, PhD student and Transform4Europe (T4EU) Student Council member at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, represented the T4EU Alliance at the European University Alliances Forum (EUSAF), one of the key gathering points for European University Alliances to exchange experiences, priorities, and strategic directions, held in Warsaw from 2 to 4 July.
The young researcher took part in the three-day event, presenting T4EU’s identity, priorities, and activities to representatives from 52 other European University Alliances, out of 53 alliances present at the forum. As part of the programme, Mahsa Farrokhi designed and presented an official T4EU poster showcasing the alliance’s mission and activities and produced a comprehensive benchmarking report analysing all alliances present and comparing their strategic approaches with T4EU’s.
With this participation, Católica managed to position T4EU visibly among peer alliances, strengthen direct contact with other alliance representatives and student delegates, and gathering concrete, comparative intelligence on the strategies, strengths, and challenges of alliances — insight that directly informs T4EU’s own strategic planning.
Through this initiative Católica reinforces its role as an active, visible partner within the T4EU network, and it strengthens T4EU’s own positioning by benchmarking it against the wider European University Alliances landscape — identifying what T4EU already does well and where it can learn from more established alliances.
