“Transform4Europe” Transformational Leadership Seminar & Matchmaking Event
The Transform4Europe Alliance (T4EU) invites high-level university leaders to participate in a three-day Transformational Leadership Seminar & Matchmaking event. The event will take place on June 9–11 at Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) in Kaunas, Lithuania.
This programme is specifically designed for academic leaders and professionals seeking to strengthen their responsible leadership competencies, emotional intelligence, resilience, and team collaboration skills through interactive workshops and networking opportunities.

Event Programme:

Day I | June 9

“University Leadership Lab: Solving Shared Challenges” (Matchmaking Event)

• Time: 10:00–16:00
• Lecturer: Dr. Aistė Ragauskaitė, Vytautas Magnus University. A social sciences researcher and creativity-development facilitator with a strong interest in technology and innovation.
• Description: An interactive workshop designed to address shared challenges in higher education through collaboration. This session includes B2B meetings to encourage active engagement, experience exchange, and the exploration of potential partnerships.

Day II | June 10

“Responsible Leadership in Higher Education” (Transformational Leadership Seminar)

Session 1: Responsible Leadership

• Time: 9:00–13:00
• Lecturer: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vytautas Liesionis, Vytautas Magnus University. An expert in leadership and management who chairs sectoral professional committees and brings extensive experience in organizational operations and ethics.
• Description: This training familiarizes participants with the principles and tools of effective communication and employee motivation. It aims to help leaders improve their responsible leadership functions and managerial work.

Day III | June 11

“Feelings Matter: Emotional Intelligence Lab for Leaders in Academia” (Seminar)

• Time: 9:00–12:00
• Lecturer: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aurelija Stelmokienė, Vytautas Magnus University. A researcher specializing in organizational psychology, leadership development, and human resources.
• Description: This practice lab focuses on the five main components of EQ: self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, relationship skills, and motivation. It helps academic leaders move beyond “being right” to building a thriving organizational culture.
  Optional Activity:
• 13:00–16:00: Job Shadowing activities at VMU Departments.
