The Council of the EU has adopted a recommendation on a European quality assurance and recognition system in higher education and approved a resolution on a joint European degree label, paving the way for a future joint European degree. This event marks a major step forward for alliances like ours, uniting universities across the continent and offering a growing portfolio of joint degree programmes.
‘A possible joint European degree that would boost the attractiveness and competitiveness of European higher education on a global scale,’ says Andrzej Szeptycki, Polish Deputy Minister for Science and Higher Education.
