'(In)Visible Cities' at the University of Sofia's Gallery

The ‘Alma Mater’ Gallery at the University of Sofia, Bulgaria, presents an exhibition by students and PhD students of the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland.
The (In)visible Cities exhibition was opened on 17 April 2024 at the Alma Mater Gallery. It displays works by professors, PhD students and students from the Institute of Fine Arts in Cieszyn, the University of Silesia. The exhibition brings together more than 40 graphic works, which are a reference to Italo Calvino’s novel Invisible Cities.
It was officially opened by Prof. Milena Blazhieva from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the University of Sofia, and the exhibition concept was presented by Agata Stronciwilk, PhD, who curated the exhibition together with Prof. Adam Czech. Both curators are associated with the University of Silesia.
The opening ceremony was attended by lecturers and students from the University of Sofia, as well as Iwona Jakuszko-Dudka (First Counsellor and Deputy Head of the Polish Mission in Bulgaria), Małgorzata Hejduk-Gromek (Minister-Counsellor and Head of Consular Affairs and Polish Diaspora) and Marta Kosowska (Vice Consul and Third Secretary of the Polish Embassy).
