The Policy Conference will be held within the Strategic Assembly and aims to discuss important challenges of the European Education Area in the light of shared Transform4Europe values such as European identity, transformative spirit and knowledge-entrepreneurialism.

The 2024 Transform4Europe Policy Conference will be held on 22 October in Katowice. The experts representing the Alliance universities will take part in a debate on ‘Diplomacy of Universities‘, the aim of which is to exchange on the significant role universities play in building and strengthening relations between and among countries through international higher education, research and innovation.

A keynote speech will be delivered by Anna Pieńkosz, the Deputy Director at the Department of the Americas in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Transform4Europe Strategic Assembly will be held in the subsequent part of the day, constituting of Governing Bodies’ meetings, which allow for exchange and discussion among all groups involved in the Transform4Europe University Alliance – students, academic and non-academic staff, and external stakeholders.

Meetings of the Governing Bodies of the Alliance and different expert groups provide the opportunity to discuss strategic questions, develop new ideas and enhance the network. As it unites all important actors of the alliance, it brings in all relevant perspectives for the future activities of the T4EU.
