transfer of T4EU Presidency

An important item on the event’s agenda will be the transfer of T4EU Presidency – a role assumed by subsequent universities of the Alliance to foster cooperation between the partners. In 2023-2024, the University of Silesia implemented a variety of tasks under the T4EU Presidency. During this year’s T4EU Week, Prof. Ryszard Koziołek, Rector of the University of Silesia, will symbolically transfer this role to our partner from Lithuania – Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, represented by Prof. Juozas Augutis, Rector of Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas.

Policy Conference

A Policy Conference will be held on 22 October as part of the Strategic Assembly. The experts representing the Alliance universities will take part in a debate on the topic of ‘Diplomacy of Universities’.

Global Partnership Forum

A Global Partnership Forum will also take place on that day. This event will aim to connect representatives of academic and non-academic communities to discuss the broadly understood topic of water. Experts will talk about water as an important resource that not only has an economic value but is also of great significance in international relations. The Forum will promote sustainable water management practices that are in line with the T4EU mission. It will also strengthen cooperation among the partners of the Alliance and other experts in this field. It will allow participants to establish new contacts and build new partnerships.
