Metacampus

About

Alliance Students now have the opportunity to access the new T4EU Metacampus — a digital platform designed to simplify the process of browsing and applying for courses offered across the Transform4Europe Alliance.

Key features:

  • A single public hub aggregates course offerings from all alliance institutions.

The Joint platform provides a catalogue section where all the courses offered by each university in the federation are listed. The Course Catalogue is public, but application to courses is only available for authenticated users.

Students and staff browse the catalogue to identify and select

  • Users log in via federated access using institutional credentials
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) integration avoids repeated login across platforms
  • Upon course selection and enrolment, users are redirected to the Moodle of the offering university

Objective: foster a borderless, multilingual European digital campus, accessible to students, faculty members, researchers, and staff within the T4EU Alliance.

Target: The platform currently offers courses only for students (courses at Bachelor level), but future releases may include courses for staff and a wider public, as well as Master’s and PhD courses.

Courses can be viewed by all users, can also be searched and filtered by course attribute (e.g. language study field, starting date, university, etc.), but application to courses is only available for authenticated users.
