Day 1 | Welcome in France!

This morning, we kicked off the week by welcoming everyone with coffee and a traditional French breakfast. Following that, we held a short opening session where the T4EU team spoke, along with Mathilde Labregere, Head of the International Relations Office, and Alain Trouillet, International Education Vice President of UJM. They warmly welcomed all participants, with a special message for the USAAR delegation, joining us for the first two days.

The USAAR delegation followed a dedicated programme, including a roundtable discussion co-hosted by Franck Aivaliotis, UJM’s General Director, and Roland Rolles, General Director of USAAR. In the afternoon, they took part in collaborative workshops in a “World Café” style format.

Classes for students started at 10 a.m. and continued until 1 p.m., followed by a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, students participated in a Kin-Ball session designed to raise awareness about parasports. They had the opportunity to experience different types of disabilities while playing, making it a fun and educational activity.

This evening, we look forward to seeing you all at the Opening Party at the university restaurant, right next to Building K.
