Training dedicated to academic staff holding top and middle managerial positions

1 October 2025 | University of Alicante, Spain

About

The Transform4Europe Alliance invites academic staff holding top and middle managerial positions at the universities (i.e., deans, vice-deans, heads of doctoral schools, heads of institutes, degree programme directors, etc.) of T4EU universities to participate in the course Effective Meeting Management for University Leaders, which will take place on 1 October 2025. The course will be delivered online via Zoom and conducted in English.

This course provides structured guidance on running effective meetings in public universities, focusing on achieving objectives efficiently, fostering collaboration, and generating actionable outcomes. Participants will learn how to plan, conduct, and follow up meetings while taking into account group dynamics, communication skills, and the impact of meeting spaces, whether physical or virtual.

A leading approach in the training is understanding meetings as a strategic leadership tool. Effective meetings are not just about moving through an agenda; they require attention to participants’ engagement, decision-making processes, and overall group well-being. The course integrates theory, practice, and group dynamics, allowing participants to share experiences and reflect on real-life university meeting challenges.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and register for the course to enhance your leadership and soft skills in managing university meetings.
