Putting Yourself First: Mental Health Workshops

About

Mental health matters! Stress, anxiety, loneliness, and other mental health challenges are becoming increasingly common among students and university staff. Especially in these uncertain times, filled with global crises, support for those in need is more important than ever.

The Transform4Europe alliance firmly believes in the importance of well-being—both physical and mental—and that everyone should have access to the help they need. Many of our universities already offer dedicated mental health programmes, including counselling services and a range of supportive activities. However, there is always more that can be done. The T4EU Mental Health Workshops are our way of providing students and staff with a space to pause, gain knowledge to better face challenges, and develop the skills needed to contribute to a society where mental health support is a core value.

Held annually, the T4EU Mental Health Workshops include informative lectures on common issues students encounter in daily life—from procrastination to stress management—as well as online conferences on urgent topics in psychology and mental health support. But as always, actions speak louder than words. That’s why we strive to create safe spaces where students can relax and take time to focus on themselves, particularly during T4EU Weeks and other major events.

Whether you’re facing your own mental health challenges or supporting someone who is, we invite you to join our next workshop. Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements!

You can find more information about the various mental health counselling services in the Catalogue of T4EU Green Campus Life, Inclusion, and Wellbeing Offers, where you’ll learn more about the support available at your university.
