Cross-Disciplinary Academic Offer: Crocodile

An international project Cross-Disciplinary Academic Offer: Crocodile – initiated by T4EU partners – has just been concluded. Its main aim was to prepare a modern, international, elective academic offer that can be successfully implemented at different universities, especially the ones forming T4EU alliance. Project consortium participants (University of Silesia in Katowice, University of Alicante, Sofia University and Vytautas Magnus University with Saarland University as a silent partner) have worked out three intellectual outputs that are now ready to be used:

1. International cross-disciplinary general academic offer. Report and recommendations.
2. A guide to organising university summer schools. A collection of inspirations.
3. A set of class scenarios together with additional materials.

This project addresses need for implementing truly interdisciplinary academic offer that can be introduced on the international level strengthening cooperation between T4EU partners. Report and recommendations document suggests how this type of offer should be organized; A guide to university summer schools is based on consortium members best practices in organizing summer schools as a part of university education; A set of class scenarios presents ten courses that can be included into international cross-disciplinary general academic offer.
