T4ERI Stakeholder Assembly in Burgas

From 10-12 September 2024, the T4ERI team from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” hosted the final project assembly in Burgas, Bulgaria, focusing on sustainable development, climate adaptation and innovation. The T4ERI Stakeholder Assembly, held on 10 September, featured diverse participants from municipalities, businesses, NGOs and universities within the Transform4Europe regions. They shared innovative climate adaptation practices and discussed opportunities for collaboration.

Assoc. Prof. Stelian Dimitrov from Sofia University highlighted successful partnerships between Burgas Municipality and the university, focusing on smart cities and climate adaptation. Other key projects were presented by stakeholders from Germany, Estonia, Italy, Lithuania and Slovenia, showcasing urban planning innovations, sustainable city solutions, and regional collaborations.

On 11 September, a Stakeholders’ Café continued the discussions, bringing together researchers, companies and institutions to explore future research collaborations in energy, climate change, urban planning and more. The event fostered new partnerships and highlighted the importance of ongoing cooperation within the T4EU Alliance.
